Errors

rate-limited

A rate limit or quota was hit. Wait for Retry-After and send again.

429 Too Many Requests · Too many requests · type: https://docs.dlogify.com/errors/rate-limited

When it happens

  • Your organization sent more events per minute than its plan allows.
  • Your organization used its monthly event quota; ingestion is refused until the period resets.
  • dlogify is temporarily unable to accept more data and asks you to retry later.
  • Too many management requests per minute from the same user, too many sign-in attempts, or too many invitation emails.

How to fix it

Wait the number of seconds in the Retry-After header and send the same request again. The official clients do this for you and keep the data buffered meanwhile. If you hit the per-minute limit often, send larger batches less often, or move to a plan with a higher limit (see Plans and usage and Rate limits and quotas).
